How to Ship Parcels in Parcel Tycoon: Dispatch Drop-Off Walkthrough

Finish the packing checklist, carry your packed parcel to the Dispatch point beside your shop, drop it off, and read the payout that confirms it shipped.

In Parcel Tycoon, a parcel ships at exactly one spot: the Dispatch point on the roadside beside your shop, signposted with the company name you chose when you started. Finish the box on your packing bench, carry it out there, and drop it off — that hand-over is the entire shipping action. Money follows immediately: the run shown in the guide footage credits about 400 the moment the parcel is dispatched.

Closing the box at the bench ships nothing by itself. The drop-off at the dispatch sign is the step that actually sends the parcel and pays you.

What has to be done before a parcel can ship

The game only ever shows finished parcels going out, and "finished" means that parcel's own checklist is complete. The checklist changes from order to order — one box has nothing to seal, another needs the bottom taped, another is declared dry because it holds a cup — but the steps you rotate through are:

  1. All of the ordered items placed inside the box.
  2. A contents declaration, dry or liquid, matched to what's inside (one let's play marks a parcel dry "cuz there's a cup in there").
  3. Bubble wrap or filler around the contents.
  4. The box closed and taped: the seam, plus the bottom when the parcel calls for it. Some parcels read "nothing to seal" and skip that step entirely.
  5. A condition stamp set to standard or fragile. In the guide run, the controls shown are F to wrap the contents and Space to set the stamp.
  6. The printed shipping label slapped on last.

That's the pre-flight check. The footage never shows an incomplete parcel being refused, warned about, or flagged at dispatch — so the dependable habit is to walk the checklist before you pick the box up. The full box-arranging workflow lives in the packing guide, and the tape, stamp and label steps in the tape-and-stamp walkthrough.

The dispatch drop-off: how a parcel actually ships

Where to go: the Dispatch point sits at the roadside next to your shop, and its sign carries your company's name. It comes from the name you type in at the start — the let's play names its company "Izzy's world," and its sign reads "Izzy's World Dispatch." The sign fills in letter by letter as you choose, so whatever you pick is the sign you'll be walking to all game.

What to do: carry the parcel over and drop it off at the point. Both gameplay runs do exactly this — one narrates "drop it off here… dispatch it" and immediately sees the money; the other finishes the same hand-over with a satisfied "Perfect." Neither recording names the button or key used, so don't hunt for a specific keybind: the demonstrated interaction is box in hand, walk to the sign, drop the parcel at the dispatch point.

One wording note so you don't second-guess the map: the store description talks about delivering parcels "across the city," but the early-game footage shows every hand-over happening at your own roadside dispatch. Whether city-wide delivery becomes a separate later stage isn't shown — in the garage-stage game covered here, the dispatch sign is the destination.

From there the loop repeats straight away: grab the next order from the printer, pack it, label it, and walk it back to the sign. That cycle is where the money comes from — the orders guide covers the order side, and the money-making breakdown covers what the loop pays.

How to tell your shipment registered

The confirmation is instant and hard to miss: cash lands the moment the drop-off completes. In the run shown it's about 400 — treat that as one data point, not a price list. Payouts vary, and the game's own description explains why: "Deliver fast for big tips," so quicker hand-overs earn more.

Two things shape what you keep from each payout:

  • The bank's 30%. While the 6,000 loan for your table is outstanding, the bank takes "a friendly 30%" from every parcel you ship. The footage doesn't pin down whether it's shaved off the payout at the sign or pulled from your balance afterwards, so expect the net to sit a little under the headline number. The 30% bank cut and paying the loan off are covered in detail separately.
  • Tips. Two identical boxes won't necessarily pay the same — speed changes the total.

No delivery log, parcel counter or pop-up appears in the footage. The money hitting your balance is the shipment confirmation.

If you came here looking for the first-delivery badge: nothing in the gameplay footage shows one appearing after the drop-off, so its trigger, exact name and display location aren't something this guide can confirm. The payout is the proof you'll actually see that parcel number one shipped.

If the box won't send

There's no documented failure state to decode: no run shows an incomplete parcel being rejected, warned about, or flagged at the dispatch point. The closest moment is one player pausing at the sign briefly unsure what to do next, then moving on to the next order. Since the game doesn't show you an error message, prevention is the whole strategy. Before carrying the box out, check the steps that vary per parcel: sealed only where sealing was required, bottom taped when called for, dry or liquid matched to the contents, condition stamp set, label on. Every parcel the footage shows shipping passed that full checklist first.

Run one parcel end to end — checklist, carry, drop-off — and watch the balance tick up. That's your first shipment confirmed, and every one after it works the same way.
